The West Indianola PTO is made up of group of concerned, talented and dedicated parents and faculty members who are committed to enhancing and promoting the educational opportunities available for all children at West Indianola Elementary.

We work to accomplish this through promoting closer ties and fostering communication among parents, faculty, administration, the Seaman School District, and the greater North Topeka community. We provide curriculum and social enrichment activities. We also provide support to administration, faculty and staff.

The Parent Teacher Organization offers you the opportunity to:

• Get Connected.  There’s no better way to get involved in what’s happening in your child’s school.
• Speak Up.  PTO offers a forum for exchanging ideas as well as making suggestions.  PTO can be a way for you to more effectively express change at your child’s school.

As a member you should plan to attend our monthly meetings and are welcome to join a committee. It is well known that there is a direct link between student success and parent involvement.

Our needs for your support are ongoing. Your time and enthusiasm are welcome and needed.  No experience necessary!
