American Education Week Thank You

Thank you to Michelle Frank for chairing the events that took place during American Education Week (November 15th – 19th, 2010) at West Indianola.  Michelle and her team of dedicated volunteers assembled numerous activities throughout the week which culminated with the students Hugging the school, as featured on WIBW news.  This creative event showed the city of Topeka how much the students at West Indianola care about the environment in which their learning takes place.   Volunteers for this event included: Terri Wendlant, Lezlee Jones, Tammy Adams, Elaine Gaer, Carrie Baxter, WIBW, and Seaman Food Service.

   Thank you Michelle for all your work on this committee. Seeing West Indianola featured on the news like that at the end of the week was really cool. Great work!!
